WIll this season of sickness ever end??

Well, we got back from the doctor with Logan yesterday to find out that he does have myositis. Basically this can happen after a virus and involves your muscles becoming swollen and painful. My poor little guy is limping when he moves because of the pain. We are still waiting on lab results back from the doctor to determine exactly how bad it is. On top of that he also has bronchitis. They put him on an antibiotic for that and I figured we were headed on our way to recovery.

Today I had to take Brianna to the doctor so they could adjust her seizure meds. I had to bring Logan with me because he is still home sick from school. While we were in the neurologist office, he complained that his stomach hurt and then threw up! I am hoping that this is due to the bronchitis or something and not a whole new bug! He is home resting right now. Please pray that he gets 100% better soon and that he is not sick again this year! He has missed 3 weeks of school in 1 month time.

OK, so I am not so good at blogging......

Wow, I did not intend to wait this long to write another post! I think in order to make this successful I will have to try and make it a point to think about something to blog daily, that way I should have at least one or two each week! LOL I am sure part of my lack of blogging has simply been because I have not had much to write about.

I have literally been stuck in the house for almost a full month. I had gallbladder surgery on Jan 26, my son came down with pneumonia a week after that. He spent a day in the hospital and was sick and missed school for a total of 2 weeks. As soon as he got better, I caught whatever upper repiratory virus he had, and then as soon as I got better he caught something else. For the last month, my only ventures out of this house have been to the doctors office and the grocery store and one good day in there to fold church newsletters. We are actually headed to the doctor again today to have Logan looked at. They suspect that his last virus could have resulted in myocitis (?sp?) and want to take another look at him. He has been hobbling around the house like a little old man for the last couple days so hopefully they can do something to ease his pain.

I am going a bit stir crazy and am ready to get back to normal life. I miss church and I miss seeing friends. I hope no one thinks I have just dropped off the face of the earth! I look forward to this all ending and getting back to all of our normal activities. Get ready girls....I will be ready for breakfast, lunch, hanging out, whatever as soon as this is over!

My first Blog!

Ok, so I am new to blogging. I have loved reading so many people's blogs and decided it was time to start my own. I can't guarantee that what I have to say will be very interesting, or that I will be good about posting regularly, or that anyone will even read this! I figure I have to give it a try. Wish me luck!
